Cute Couple & Their Dog Children | Include Your Pets | Clayton, NC Couple & Pet Photographer

A lot of times I will get asked if I will do a session with pets.  And my answer is ALWAYS yes (unless it is a snake….sorry)!  A lot of times my families are couples with fur babies.  To me, pets are and always will be family!  So, whether it is human children, or the furry variety I will work with you on getting them into your photos!

I had an amazing time with Jill and Damien and their three boys!  We had the perfect evening this past fall for some gorgeous photos.  Talk about genuine, heart-warming photos…these two were so natural with their affection for one another in front of my lens, it made me melt.

With spring right around the corner, foliage will start greening up and the weather will be perfect to get out for some updated photos!  Please contact me if you’d like to schedule something!

Throwback Thursday | Birthday Boy | Clayton, NC Children’s Photographer

I’m going with a throwback Thursday blog post; since it was last April that I got to hang out with this cutie patootie and his handsome brothers!  Even though it was a tad on the chilly side, we still had a great time as we made a little adventure through the park!  I love it when kids can just have a good time and we don’t have to “pose” them.  I love capturing their little personalities as they are!

2016 Clayton High School Senior | Crossfit | Clayton, NC High School Senior Photographer

Yes, yes I know.  I am severely behind on blogging my sessions.  BUT…

This is my friend Hannah.  She is nothing short of amazing!  She graduated last spring (class of 2016).  We met at Crossfit Clayton and she would always come in with such a great, positive attitude.  Hannah was also a phenomenal track athlete too for CHS.  This girl’s determination will definitely take her far!  I’m so glad that she asked me to do her senior photos for her, and that she wanted some of them done at one of her favorite places to be (Crossfit Clayton).  There will be a few other photographs from Hannah’s session in another post, but I wanted to at least share these!

Longleaf School of the Arts | 2016 Senior Grad | Bass Player | Clayton, NC Senior Photographer

Last fall I was able to rock out with Griffin Daniels doing his senior grad photos.  (I know I’m behind in my posts.)  Talk about a super talented bass player…he’s the bassist for the band Black Wall too.  Definitely look them up to see where they play in the area!  We hit up a couple of cool spots that fit the type of photos we were going for.  I had an amazing time of course I got a free bass concert out of the deal so that was always a bonus!

If you’re interested in your own senior session please let me know!  I’m pretty much booked for fall but that doesn’t mean we can’t fit something in for the spring of 2017!

In Home Family Session| Christmastime Lifestyle | Clayton, NC Family Photographer

Early December last year I had the opportunity to do a fun in home lifestyle session with the Riley family.  Lifestyle session are truly close to my heart because they embody that moment in time in such a way that tradition sessions can sometimes miss.  They evoke the memories of where family holidays were celebrated and how the house was decorated.  Things that quite often don’t seem important but add so much to YOUR story.  Yes, that includes the sippy cup that just had to be held onto during photos.  It’s the little things that make us grasp onto those tiny memories.

If you think a lifestyle session is something you’d be interested in please message me.  They often take place inside your home and around your home/yard.  They are very laid back and are all about capturing unscripted moments in YOUR space.  Sometimes we even enjoy an activity that your family or you and significant other enjoy doing together.  Whether it is having tea or hot chocolate, decorating the tree/gingerbread houses, having a bonfire and roasting marshmallows; whatever it may be I’m there to capture it.

I hope to hear from you! Only a few weekends left before Christmas and I have limited session slots available!
