Anxiously Awaiting Maternity | Seymour Johnson Area Photographer

I was super excited to shoot this session.  This family knew how to have fun and were very relaxed in front of my camera!  Even with an energetic toddler to contend with we had an amazing session out at one of my favorite locations.  (It’s a photographer hotspot).  I’m actually needing to scout some new places, even though I love this location for its lighting, diversity of scenes, and pretty much endless possibilities.

I’m also super excited because in just a few weeks time this beautiful mama will be anticipating the arrival of her new little girl!  We already have the new little beauties first modeling session penciled into the books!

Craigslist Family Members | Seymour Johnson Family Photographer

Almost a year and a half ago I started looking to “add” to our family.  I scoured through lots of the ads for pets and local animal shelter websites.  Finally, when I read an ad for the kittens that are now apart of our family I knew we had to meet them.  Their foster parents were caring and took them in as they were dumped in another neighborhood that was literally around the corner from ours.  After, meeting the kitties our whole family unanimously decided that we wanted to take them home.  And we did just that the next night.  Every day they get tons of love, petting, playing, treats, lounging and belly rubs!  Our girls tell us that the “cats” are the best present ever!  So, if you are undecided about where to get a pet please consider looking at a shelter or even Craigslist!  You’ll be saving a furry little life, maybe even two!

Maternity Beauty | Raleigh, NC Area Photographer

Almost a month ago my cousin invited me to Charlotte for some long needed catching up and of course maternity photos!  Good thing I went when I did, because only a couple of weeks later her and her husband welcomed their beautiful baby girl!  Since, I was unfamiliar with the Charlotte area, she found me a stunning location at the Latta Plantation.  The lighting and the weather couldn’t have been more ideal.  And let’s not forget I had a gorgeous expecting couple to work with!

Expecting Baby #2 Announcement | Garner, NC Photographer

Last month I had the pleasure of meeting a new “growing” family.  I hate to admit it, but I kind of like being the first to know about events like this!  I’m so glad that they chose me to document their family’s life event.

The weather was a tad on the chilly side.  (Which is rare for our weather that time of year)  Despite the chill though, we were able to get some beautiful shots!
