Cute Couple | In Home Lifestyle Session | Clayton, NC Couples Photographer

One of my absolute favorite types of sessions is when clients invite me into their homes.  Nothing is more personal and intimate.  It’s like a little window into their lifestyle and personality. So, when the Fitzpatricks invited me to their home for part two of their session I was excited!  I was even more excited after seeing how beautifully decorated their home was! It was honestly something straight out of a magazine!

Fall Family Photos | Sunnier With Twins | Clayton, NC Family Photographer

I have neglected blogging my sessions.  Today’s rainy spring weather has inspired me to catch up!  Especially with the sunny fall day I had shooting my featured family!

When all of the stars align and I get a fun family with perfect weather it is GOLD!

When Colleen asked me to shoot her family I was super excited!  She had the kids dressed in multiple cute outfits, and we both had some fun with props and things to add to personalizing their session!

You’d think that shooting a young set of twins would be challenging, but I’ll let you in on a secret.  I just make it all about having a good time.  Engage the kids, have them play (not pose) and get mom and dad in on the fun!  I absolutely LOVE the genuine expressions and playfulness of my families.  Who wants stiff and boring?

Class of 2017 | Clayton High School Senior | Clayton, NC High School Senior Photographer

This past fall I had the opportunity to do Abe’s senior photos!  This young man is nothing short of amazing!  He will definitely excel in whatever he decides to pursue in life!  He is sweet, smart and handsome.  All the best things you could hope for in your children!

He and his sister CeCe have an incredible bond so it was no question that they had a few photos taken together.  Thanks Flores family for letting me be apart of this milestone!

Cute Couple | Big Duke Dog | Clayton, NC Couple & Pet Photographer

Sure I love shooting families; but shooting families that are made up of a couple and their fur babies are equally enjoyable!  So, when the Fitzpatricks brought Duke along for the photos I was thrilled!  He is massive!  But, in all reality he’s a spoiled baby.  (Aren’t they all?)

I naturally gravitate towards animals.  Ever since I was little I’ve had a pet.  If I could be, I’d be a crazy cat lady.  But, my husband has put the cap on for just the two we have now.

Family of Five | Portofino Perfection | Clayton, NC Family Photographer

Oh. My. Goodness.  I absolutely LOVE all of the photos that I took during the Read family’s fall session.  We had a nice stroll through the pathways of the Portofino neighborhood.  The weather was perfection as well as the evening light and of course the Read family is always dressed like they are in a magazine.  I couldn’t have been more excited!  Let’s not foget that they brought along their adorable fur family member too!  Remi completed the family photos with nice, big bulldog smiles!
