Pregnancy Progression Series | Week 15 | Clayton, NC Maternity Photographer

Can you believe we are up now up to week 15?!  The baby is now the size of an orange!

The family has decided to find out the gender of the baby this week and will be announcing it with a photo (of course)!!!

There was a running tally on my facebook fan page and there were quite a few boy votes vs. girl.  Check back later to see if your guess is it! Either way the family is happy to add another beautiful little one!

Big sister did decide she wanted to hop in for the first photo with her mama this time around, she sure is a cutie pie!

Pregnancy Progression Series | Week 14 | Clayton, NC Maternity Photographer

When life gives you a lemon…it must be referring to the size of a baby at 14 weeks!

It is still hard to believe how much growing happens in a week!  Especially since mama looks to be the same size as last week!

It is hard for me to remember my own pregnancy journey. But I’m pretty sure I really didn’t start “feeling” pregnant (well after all the morning sickness the first trimester) till about 20 weeks in or so.  Then it seemed like I grew every day!

Pregnancy Progression Series | Week 13 | Clayton, NC Maternity Photographer

At week 13 the baby is now approximately the size of a peach!!  And I’m sure once it arrives it will be just as sweet!  But, we still have to wait 27 weeks before that will happen!

Lura has become a pro with modeling for her weekly photos!  She will soon have to go shopping for clothes to accomodate her growing figure, even though she is still so tiny!

Pregnancy Progression Series | Week 12 | Clayton, NC Maternity Photographer

Week 12 the baby is now the size of a plum!  I can hardly believe it!  Not to mention this is the close of the first trimester!  That means hopefully no more morning/afternoon/evening whenever sickness and maybe a second wind in the energy department?

As we were taking photos this time around Kitty had to sneak in for some attention too, so why not let her in on a photo?

Pregnancy Progression Series | Week 11 | Clayton, NC Maternity Photographer

Can you believe at 11 weeks that the baby is now approximately the size of a lime?  It is amazing how fast the first trimester seems to go!  And then it seems like it takes FOREVER before the baby arrives!

I absolutely loved the color of the dress Lura chose and how it contrasted with the lime!

She looked beautiful, as always!!
