Raddest Fam | Family Photo Sesh | Clayton, NC Family Photographer

Pretty sure the Lathan family is the raddest family I’ve shot to date.  They were totally comfortable being themselves in front of my camera which made for AMAZING photos!  I haven’t seen siblings with a love and bond for each other like these two; I LOVED THEM! We had a great time just goofing around, having some laughs and of course FUN!  Because that is what I do best!

Oh Boys | Family Photos | Clayton, NC Family Photographer

I’m not sure how much boy cuteness you can fit into a session…but the Whitaker brothers definitely packed it into their family session!  We had a great time this past fall taking a stroll through Lake Benson Park (one of my favorite places).  Although, I’m not sure going near the lake (think mud) with boys was such a grand idea! Hahahahaha!  Once we made it past the mud it was onto leaf throwing.  Because it is obviously necessary when you have such a beautiful sunset and bright orange and red leaves to toss!

Clayton High School | Class of 2018 | Downtown Clayton | Clayton, NC Senior Photographer

This is part 2 of Hannah’s senior session!  We thought it would be fun to hit downtown and get some great shots in our awesome little community!  From the Performing Arts Center, to the alley at Revival, to a mural, a great set of stairs at the dance studio, pretty gate outside the yoga studio, we covered most of Main Street (and a little off the beaten path).

I can’t wait to see what Hannah does at NC State!  Congrats Hannah!  You’re an amazing young lady!

Big Happy Family | Grandparents Too | Clayton, NC Family Photographer

I have had the joy of being apart of the Taylor family’s photos for 3 seasons now!  I love watching their little family grow.  This year we had both sets of parents/grandparents along to join in on the fun!  And fun it was!  We had such a great time together and I enjoyed their enthusiasm!  I love having the opportunity to shoot sessions with the extended family.  It is great to have photos of the whole family!

Family Photos | Downtown Clayton | Clayton, NC Family Photographer

We started off the Gavin family session at one of my super favorite spots to shoot (kinda my secret hiding place)!  It has great foliage, lighting, brick, doorways, very urban rustic.  After our little adventure there Dianna wanted to try something a little different for family photos so we headed downtown to Revival!  Who didn’t want a drink anyways!?  I had shot Hannah’s senior photos in their little alleyway and hadn’t really thought about a family in that spot.  But it turned out AMAZING!  I’m so glad she suggested it!
