When one of your clients has an amazingly gorgeous daughter that was visiting NC for the summer you shoot her senior photos! GAH I totally lucked out with Marie! She was so natural, beautiful and confident in front of my camera.

I had always been hesitant in shooting weddings. Until I finally caved when asked by a friend (who’s also a client) asked if I’d shoot a small wedding for her in-laws at the bride and groom’s home. Small, beautiful, intimate and homy. AND I LOVED IT! I thrived off the action, the atmosphere and the ease. It wasn’t anything like I had imagined.
Since that first wedding I shot TWO more and each one was nothing short of amazing.
I’d love to book ALL the small weddings in 2019! Please help me spread the word and spread the LOVE!

Well, I have run out of time to blog the sessions I took since last fall till current. Reason being is I have some BIG news to share with ya’ll. But that will be a later post. So, in the meantime just enjoy the photos! I truly am so VERY grateful for EVERY single client I have photographed. Thank you for always supporting me!

I absolutely adore the Sheppard Family. I knew right away that we would have nothing short of a good time with their session. We took a stroll through one of my favorite hidden gem locations capturing laughs and their personalities. At the end we got the family suited up in their “activity/job” attire! Softball, CrossFit, gaming, Matt with his neverending job list with ProKleen and Renee’ with her crossing guard vest and wreath (she makes wreaths). Then we put them all together in a final family photo (which was all Renee’s idea) to represent their busy/crazy family! I seriously love when families come to me with ideas on how to make their session truly represent who they are.

I’m yet to find another family that loves downtown Clayton more than the Llyods. Since Karel has his chiropractic clinic right on Main Street he is in the heart of it all. Both Karel and his wife Jessica are active in the community; I’m sure you’ve seen them around! So it just made sense that we did their photos around downtown with their three boys and their corgi! I love doing photos in locations that mean something to my clients.
