Family Christmas Time | Clayton, NC Lifestyle Photographer

One of my favorite families asked me to do one of my FAVORITE types of sessions.  Lifestyle.  It’s capturing the moments as they are happening, in their home, naturally.

Of course mom picked out cute outfits, pj’s, and even some cute snowmen mugs to coordinate the session.

With a 2 1/2 year old little boy, and a 6 month old little girl…there wasn’t much for sitting by the tree for too long for those “perfect” shots anyway.  So, I just captured them as they were.  Quickly! 😉

I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas and is always reminded of the love that Jesus has for us.

God Bless!

Like A Good Neighbor | Clayton, NC Area Family Photographer

This is the second year that I had waited and waited and procrastinated on my own family photos. ( I may share those later)  So, I bribed my photo enthusiast neighbor to snap some photos of my family with a super mini session of their own, in their own yard!  😉

I do have to say, as chilly as it was we pulled off some great photos in probably 15-20 minutes!  We even got their bouncy boxer to sit still long enough to get him in the photo!

Also, perfectly coordinated outfits always help and the whole family looked great! We even got dad to give a few “real” smiles!

Handsome Lil’ Man Is 4 | Raleigh, NC Area Child Photographer

I have done this little guy’s photos for the last couple of years, and I am still amazed how much he has grown in a year!  I’m sad to say it, but I start to see less and less of that “toddler” and more “boy” every time!

We had a FUN day at White Deer park!  Even though it was a bit on the chilly side we toughed it out, and had the whole park to ourselves!  Nothing beats shooting on a weekday morning!

Little Miss Is 6 Months | Seymour Johnson AFB Family Photographer

Whew!  This was a FUN session and Mom was prepared for her little princess to have a few outfits! Good thing we were fast at outfit changes!!

From tea with her fuzzy bear, to a cute owl hat ensemble, to a lovely pink/navy dress, and ending with an adorable fall outfit we had a TON of photos to pick from at the end of our session!

We even got big brother and few family shots in too!

I don’t know anyone who values photography and photos more than Sam.  I truly appreciate her not only as a friend but as a great client!  Things can never capture memories, but photos can.

Fall Fun In Minnesota | Clayton, NC Area Child Photographer

Back in October I took a flight out to MN for a very short visit with family.  While I was there I of course had to shoot two of  my most favorite kids ever! My niece and nephew. 😉

I usually shoot the whole family, but there wasn’t enough time for that this trip.  My sister in law is especially good at finding the perfect location(s) for me to shoot at since I’m not familiar with the area, and ALWAYS has everyone dressed and coordinated perfectly.

We made it to our shooting location with just enough time to shoot before it started to get really cold and drizzly.  If only I could do every fall session at the vineyard/orchard in Stillwater.

As always, we had a great time and got some fun photos of the kids!
