My Violin Player | Polenta Elementary School | Clayton, NC Children’s Photographer

Before the end of the school year my daughter’s school had an end of the year strings performance.  This was the first year that she has been playing the violin.  It has been such a joy to watch her learn and grow playing an instrument.  I hope she sticks with it!  Much better than listening to a saxaphone or French horn, like I used to play…my poor mother! 😉

9 Month Baby “B” | Clayton, NC Children’s Photographer

I have been very terrible at keeping up with my website!  I sincerely sorry!  I’m hoping to be blogging at least once a week this summer!  Let’s hope that summer activities, sessions, and family time don’t keep me from it!

A couple of months ago Baby “B” was 9 months old. So, we ventured out into the forest on a fine, late spring morning to capture her growing personality!  This girl was ready to rock n roll and was ALWAYS on the move!  Mama was constantly after her!  We even had to do a couple of wipe downs from all of the yellow pollen that was on EVERYTHING!  I can’t wait to see her again for her 1 year photos!!  I always hated that saying of “they grow up so fast”, but I’m starting to believe it more and more myself!  Especially when I get to do these “Grow With Me” sessions!  It is such a great way to see your little one bloom into such beautiful little flowers.

Baby B | 6 Months Old | Raleigh, NC Children’s Photographer

I have been way behind in blogging some of my wonderful sessions!  So, I’ll start with one of my favorite little cuties!

We had to reschedule a couple of times due to the icky sickies that were going around.  So, Miss B is closer to 7 months old in her photos!!  And next month we will be shooting her 9 month photos!!

Seriously?  Where does the time go?

Miss B’s momma always has super cute outfits to dress her in!  And she had this wild tutu made up for her as well as her coordinating chevron dress to go with her nursery!

We were able to get some good smiles, drooling, and chewing all before she became hungry and tired out!

I can NOT wait for actual spring weather to capture more cuties outside!  Be sure to message me about arranging your spring sessions!

Two Years Old and In A Tuxedo | Clayton, NC Children’s Photographer

We finally had our session after a month or so of rescheduling!  It’s hard when little ones are sick or the weather just down right doesn’t cooperate!  The day we decided to just grin and bare it, it was still on the chilly side.  Which may have helped in having those naturally rosy cheeks and nose in his photos!

I have to say that this is the first time I’ve had such a handsome little man wear an adorable tux to a session!  And he totally pulled it off!

We had quite a great time enjoying and exploring the park while capturing what it’s like to be a two year old boy!!

I can’t wait for a little bit warmer weather and more sessions with more kiddos, families, couples and seniors!!

Dressed In Christmas Best | Clayton, NC Area Child Photographer

I was so happy to be asked to shoot this little sweetie in her Christmas dress, because it was specially made for her by her grandma!  I absolutely thought it looked perfect on her!  Obviously grandma does know best! 😉

We had a great time letting her take some ornaments off the tree (which usually wasn’t allowed ), and even tried to get her to sit still in her rocking chair for a couple of photos!

I tell ya though this girl has been at our local Crossfit too much and was pushing that chair like a sled! 😉

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
